Highlands Summer Festival opened the Pulitzer Prize award winning production of Proof by David Auburn on Monday July 17th. The tense drama explores a fractured family dynamic  swirling around the discovery of a notebook filled with a ground-breaking mathematical formula. Proof continues at the Northern Lights Performing Arts Pavilion in Haliburton until July 29.

“This poignant drama about love and reconciliation unfolds on the back porch of a house in a suburban university town, that is, like David Auburn’s writing, both simple and elegant.” A comment from the Pulitzer Prize committee.
