What’s On Right Now!

We’re kicking off the season with a dynamite Neil Simon comedy BAREFOOT IN THE PARK running til July 2. Crowds are already flocking to this retro but always modern classic comedy about love and marriage, young love and old love and all the trials and tribulations in between! Starring Ephraim Ellis, Melissa Morris, Allan Price, Linda Goranson and John Dickhout.

Our 2017 Season!

The 2017 Season continues to pack ‘em in with the hilarious farce Boeing Boeing July 6-30, the acerbic and hysterical One Slight Hitch by comedian and frequent Jon Stewart Daily Show guest Lewis Black August 3-27 and a new Norm Foster comedy Halfway There, September 7-October 1, where his popular wit and wisdom is set in Stewiacke Nova Scotia.

Who In Heck Are We Anyway? Well…

Located in the quaint Village of Morrisburg, on the picturesque St. Lawrence River, Upper Canada Playhouse has been one of Eastern Ontario’s most popular professional theatre companies for over 3 decades. Attracting a robust local, bus tour and visiting audience of over 40,000 annually, the theatre’s 160-performance season runs from April through December with Spring and Fall live concerts, a Summer 4-show theatre series and a Winter holiday family show. Its venue, a former toothbrush/argyle sock factory charmingly converted into a unique 275-seat, climate-controlled, accessible theatre where everyone’s close to the action, is a unique experience in itself. Known for its high standard of production and entertaining shows, The Playhouse features some of the finest actors and theatre artists in the country.
